Non-core expenditure is usually made up of many detailed and different costs about which the organisation lacks necessary comparative data and product or process knowledge necessary to cost-effectively investigate how such costs have grown and how they might be reduced.

ERI projects are not disruptive to your normal routines. ERI collects relevant data to initiate the project. If necessary, ERI will retrieve all the information we require from your files without involving your staff. Most suppliers also provide printouts of all purchases & services. This exercise will take a number of hours and thereafter our analysis & benchmarking process takes place offsite. We guarantee confidentiality and you will retain control of each project and be kept fully informed of progress on each project throughout its duration.

Your ERI team will bring to bear its market, product and process information on the project areas, its specialist skills and experience and the inherent motivation of our No savings, No fee business model to quickly recover what is effectively lost profit for you.

The eight stages of an ERI project are:

  1. Short meeting between client and ERI Associates (to establish scope of the project)
  2. Client decides on expense areas to be investigated
  3. ERI advises on the relevant data needed to initiate the project.
  4. ERI analysis and benchmarking process takes place off site
  5. Prior to ERI presenting its findings in a Cost Reduction Study Report, we hold a Pre Report  meeting with you to discuss the potential savings
  6. Client decides to implement Savings Recommendations
  7. ERI assists and monitors implementation
  8. ERI will report quarterly for the first twelve months on the savings achieved in each period
